I would have LOVED a split-screen option that would have allowed a buddy to drop into my single-player campaign and start raising hell with me. My main complaint is that the multiplayer is extremely lacking. The relatively easy to use map editor also adds greatly to the replay value. The game also includes the most impressive array of realistic weaponry I've seen in a shooter, bolstered by the intriguing "hunting and crafting" system which I thought would be annoying but turned out quite fun. I spent many a late night telling myself "okay, take over ONE more base and I'm going to bed" and then summarily ignoring my own orders. You can take down these outposts stealthily without firing a single shot or storm the front gate, flamethrower a-blazing. The exploration occurs by climbing up radio towers and liberating enemy bases. While the campaign is certainly a blast, it's the element of non-linear exploration that make this game truly epic. This journey into darkness makes the game one of the most immersive shooters of all time. As you begin to explore the world of the game, your character begins a descent into madness that turns him into a viscous killing machine. Unlike most shooters where you start off as a badass, in this game you start out as a normal 20-something kid that more or less resembles the target audience of the game itself.

I enjoyed the first two games in the series but this is the first one two really live up to its potential. I enjoyed the first two games in the As a long-time fan of the FPS and open world genres, this is the game I've been waiting for for years. Lets hope the next Far Cry fixes these issues I guess because from previous experience they do not care about the editors in updates. As a long-time fan of the FPS and open world genres, this is the game I've been waiting for for years. I've always played the editors in Far Cry games more than the actual game. But unforntunately we won't get to truly see the potential of the community thanks to these strict limits. You can literally make anything now thanks to the generic shapes they've added. It's a real shame because the Far Cry 5 editor has so much potential.

PC always allowed for more and now we have the same.

It's like PC has the same budget limits as console which makes no sense.

This was a great feature as it still meant you could create fun maps to play offline and to share with friends. And even when you did it was still possible to test the map, you just couldn't upload it. In previous Far Cry games the limit was very high and you barely reached it. If you exceed this limit you cannot test the map at all. I was delighted to discover that theres a limit of 8 vehicles you can have on a map. I also encountered the issue when on a large map and I was creating a race track. It was literally a small office space with some desks and chairs in it. What I was creating wasn't anything insane or complicated. It is impossible to make small maps with any level of detail. When I checked the list of items there were about 10 to 15 objects in total. When I placed it I was met with a dialogue box telling me I have exceeded the object count for the map and cannot place anymore items. Until I tried to place a second coffee mug. Simple desks, kitchens, generic office items. I built all the walls and floor then decided to start placing the objects. well I'm afraid you are wrong! I recently tried to create an multiplayer map set in an office. Now you might be thinking "Surely the budget limit is reasonable and only becomes an issue when creating large complex structures". And an even stricter limit to how many objects you can have in 1 grid tile! There is a limit on how many objects you can have.

So theres a limit on vehicles, AI, explosives, and objects. The budget limits how many of a certain thing you can have in the map. Theoretically, you'll know when an autosave. It appears to autosave whenever you're approaching or entering a new location of the map, such as an Anti-Aircraft Site, along with certain story and mission beats. All saving is done through autosaves, and the game chooses when to autosave. There is something in the map editor called "Budget". It is not possible to manually save your game in Far Cry 6. It has so many options and objects that allow you to literally create any map or creation you can imagine!
